SEO for dental practice websites, fixed a little every day.
Dental practice websites follow a pattern. They were built by a web designer three or four years ago, they have a page per treatment that was copied from a template, a gallery of stock photos with no descriptions, and nothing that tells Google where the practice actually is. The practice manager has no time and the agency has no spare hands.
TinyRank is built for the agency looking after that site. It audits every page, then fixes up to 7 problems a day inside WordPress, builds the practice's directory listings on weekdays and sends the agency a report on the 1st in its own branding.
The first month on a new site
- The first audit runs the same day you add the site: every page Google can see, most valuable problems first.
- From the next morning at 9am in the site's time zone, up to 7 fixes a day, each logged with its old and new value.
- Free business directory listings start on the first weekday, each one checked live before it counts.
- Backlinks are added every 30 days. The first white-label PDF report arrives on the 1st of the following month.
$99per site, per month. No setup fee, no contract.
What usually breaks on dental practices’ sites
From auditing these sites by hand for years, and now from TinyRank’s own audits. Most valuable problems get fixed first.
- Treatment pages that all read the same
- Invisalign, whitening, implants and check-ups each have a page, but the titles and descriptions were copied from one template and the text is three sentences each.
- Titles and descriptions are rewritten to name the treatment and the practice. Thin treatment pages are drafted in full for the agency to approve.
- No local business schema
- Nothing in the page code tells Google in a structured way what kind of business this is, where it is, when it is open or how to call it.
- LocalBusiness schema is added with the name, address, phone and hours, matching the Google Business Profile exactly.
- Opening hours and address that differ between site, Google and directories
- The site says one set of hours, the Google Business Profile another, and the old Yelp listing a third. Local results reward consistency.
- Directory listings are built with one consistent name, address and phone, each checked live before it counts.
- Old http links on an https site
- The site was built on http, moved to https later, and the internal links in the content were never updated. Every click goes through a redirect and Google sees two versions.
- Each http link in page content is rewritten to https. This was the most common fix on our first six sites: 34 of 105.
- Photos with no alt text
- Images uploaded straight from a phone with filenames like IMG_4471.jpg and no description. Invisible to Google Images and to screen readers.
- A short, plain description is written for each image in the media library, so every page using it benefits.
- Broken internal links
- Links to pages deleted or renamed during a redesign. Visitors hit dead ends and the link's value goes nowhere.
- Each broken link is pointed at the right live page or removed, and logged.
- Out-of-date plugins
- Several plugins months or years behind. The usual route by which small sites get hacked, and a slow source of broken forms.
- Plugins are updated one at a time. If the site stops loading after an update, that plugin is switched off again straight away. WordPress core is never touched.
Done inside WordPress, on the record.
Every fix is a real edit to the site, not a script layered on top. Each one is logged with its old and new value, most can be undone in one click, and nothing is ever deleted. Anything that changes what a page says about the business waits for your approval.
On the 1st of each month you get a PDF report in your agency’s name, logo and colour. Your client never sees TinyRank.
Questions about SEO automation for dentists
What does TinyRank cost?
$99 per client website per month, in US dollars. No setup fee, no contract, cancel any site any time. There is no free trial; a card is taken at checkout and a code can be entered there.
Is it safe on a live site?
TinyRank makes at most 7 changes a day per site, logs every one with its old and new value, and most can be undone in one click. It never deletes anything and never touches users, passwords or code. If a plugin update breaks the site it switches the plugin off. Take a backup before adding a site anyway.
Which sites does it work on?
WordPress sites using Rank Math, Yoast or All in One SEO, including pages built with Elementor and Divi. Other platforms are not supported yet.
Does TinyRank write medical content?
It drafts fuller treatment pages from what the practice already says and waits for the agency to approve them. Nothing about treatments is published automatically. Titles, descriptions, alt text and links are fixed automatically because they are reversible and do not change what the practice claims.
