SEO for solicitor and law firm websites, with every change on record.
Law firm websites tend to be large and old. Twenty practice area pages, a hundred news posts going back a decade, a team page, and a redesign in the middle that broke half the internal links. The firm is careful about what it says publicly, so nobody wants a tool rewriting pages on its own.
TinyRank suits that caution. It makes at most 7 changes a day, logs each with the old and new value, and anything that changes what a page says, like filling out a thin practice area page, waits for the agency's approval. The mechanical fixes, titles, descriptions, links, alt text, schema, happen on their own.
The first month on a new site
- The first audit runs the same day you add the site: every page Google can see, most valuable problems first.
- From the next morning at 9am in the site's time zone, up to 7 fixes a day, each logged with its old and new value.
- Free business directory listings start on the first weekday, each one checked live before it counts.
- Backlinks are added every 30 days. The first white-label PDF report arrives on the 1st of the following month.
$99per site, per month. No setup fee, no contract.
What usually breaks on law firms and solicitors’ sites
From auditing these sites by hand for years, and now from TinyRank’s own audits. Most valuable problems get fixed first.
- Practice area pages with the same title pattern
- Family Law | Smith Solicitors, Property Law | Smith Solicitors, each a paragraph long, each indistinguishable to Google.
- Titles and descriptions rewritten to say what the firm actually does in that area and where. Thin pages drafted for approval.
- Broken links after a redesign
- Years of news posts link to pages that moved during the last redesign. Law firm sites are the worst offenders because they are old and large.
- Every broken internal link is pointed at the live page or removed, and the change is logged.
- No local business schema
- Nothing in the page code tells Google in a structured way what kind of business this is, where it is, when it is open or how to call it.
- LocalBusiness schema is added with the name, address, phone and hours, matching the Google Business Profile exactly.
- Duplicate titles and descriptions
- Service pages copied from one template share the same title, so Google cannot tell them apart and often shows none of them well.
- Each page gets a title and description that names that specific service, with the old value kept for undo.
- Old http links on an https site
- The site was built on http, moved to https later, and the internal links in the content were never updated. Every click goes through a redirect and Google sees two versions.
- Each http link in page content is rewritten to https. This was the most common fix on our first six sites: 34 of 105.
- Photos with no alt text
- Images uploaded straight from a phone with filenames like IMG_4471.jpg and no description. Invisible to Google Images and to screen readers.
- A short, plain description is written for each image in the media library, so every page using it benefits.
- Out-of-date plugins
- Several plugins months or years behind. The usual route by which small sites get hacked, and a slow source of broken forms.
- Plugins are updated one at a time. If the site stops loading after an update, that plugin is switched off again straight away. WordPress core is never touched.
Done inside WordPress, on the record.
Every fix is a real edit to the site, not a script layered on top. Each one is logged with its old and new value, most can be undone in one click, and nothing is ever deleted. Anything that changes what a page says about the business waits for your approval.
On the 1st of each month you get a PDF report in your agency’s name, logo and colour. Your client never sees TinyRank.
Questions about SEO automation for law firms
What does TinyRank cost?
$99 per client website per month, in US dollars. No setup fee, no contract, cancel any site any time. There is no free trial; a card is taken at checkout and a code can be entered there.
Is it safe on a live site?
TinyRank makes at most 7 changes a day per site, logs every one with its old and new value, and most can be undone in one click. It never deletes anything and never touches users, passwords or code. If a plugin update breaks the site it switches the plugin off. Take a backup before adding a site anyway.
Which sites does it work on?
WordPress sites using Rank Math, Yoast or All in One SEO, including pages built with Elementor and Divi. Other platforms are not supported yet.
Will it change what our pages say about the law?
Not on its own. Rewrites of page content are drafted and wait for the agency to approve. Automatic changes are limited to titles, descriptions, alt text, links, schema, indexing settings and plugin updates, all reversible.
